Pembrokeshire has a very good network of
buses, with services running to every major town six days a week. Getting
to the more popular countryside areas by bus is a breeze, but some rural
locations do have a have less frequent services or community transport to
support their needs. Check out the transport map and timetables to see how
far you can go by bus!

Pembrokeshire Coastal Buses are local bus services that travel along the coast to help you access walks, beaches, boat trips, local villages and attractions.
These bus services run up and down the National Park coastline, ensuring that
the entire length of the 186 mile (299km) Pembrokeshire Coast Path National
Trail, from St Dogmaels to Amroth, is accessible by public transport. Enabling
you to walk the coast path in one direction without having to re-trace your
steps.

Frequently asked questions
The 'Preseli Green Dragon' community bus provides walkers with transport into
the Preseli Hills, a remoter area of the National Park. This community bus
is also helping locals to reach town - a perfect combination.
This service runs Tuesdays and Sundays throughout the summer (between May - September).

In the summer the ‘Day Tripper’ attractions bus enables day-trippers
to get to 11 attractions from the Tenby / Saundersfoot area without the need
to take a car. The Day Tripper is fantastic value at £6 for a family
of four, and all the attractions involved in the scheme are offering great
discounts to bus users.

The Bloomfield community walker’s bus provides walkers with transport
from Narberth to the delightful Eastern Cleddau and surrounding area. This
service which runs every Sunday from the beginning of May to the end of September
will supplement the current Tuesday and Friday Dial-A-Ride service.

The train service in Pembrokeshire provides both easy access into Pembrokeshire
and is a useful link between towns and into the surrounding countryside. Greenways
have developed walks from each railway station, giving you more excuses to
hop on board!
